Pokémon Go Dataminers Find Code For New Galarian Form
While Pokémon Go continues to be a massive success, it cannot be denied that it has always been behind the core Pokémon games when it comes to its Pokédex. Still, this did not stop developer Niantic from promoting a new bunch of pocket monsters. In fact, the studio might be up to something really exciting.
Ever since the Alolan variant Pokémon were introduced, all the way to this Halloween's Mimikyu clothing and costumes, as well as the introduction of Meltan and its evolved form Melmetal, the developers over at Niantic have managed to promote the core games generations ahead of Pokémon Go’s Pokédex. And thanks to data miners on Reddit, players can finally look forward to a more cross-promotion for the upcoming release of Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield.
The two new core games are going to be set in a new region known as Galar. And much like the Alolan region from Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon, Galar will also introduce variants of previously releasing pocket monsters, all of which can give old Pokémon much-needed new looks and types.
As of this writing, there are only four known Galarian variants. They are listed below:
Ponyta, a Psychic-type with a wild new pastel mane and tail
Zigzagoon and its evolution Linoone, now a Dark/ Normal type
Wheezing, a Poison/ Fairy type with green gas "beards and mustaches" as well as smokestack "top hats"
For now, these are the only official variants. Of course, given their popularity, there is no doubt that more of them will be revealed in the near future. The Pokémon Company, however, has yet to provide an official statement regarding the possibility of bringing these variants to Pokémon Go. There are rumors, though, that they could be introduced sometime in November alongside the official launch of Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield. But since this are all but speculation, players might want to steer clear from keeping their hopes high. It is better to take all this info with a grain of salt.关注超越娱乐官网（www.sanqinnews.com）。
