More Details On League Of Legends Mobile, Console Version Wi
At long last, League of Legends has been announced to come to both consoles and mobile. Riot Games, the developer behind the hit MOBA, recently made the big reveal and said that the launch date will be in 2020.
It's not going to be the exact same League of Legends you already know and love. There will be a new version of the game and it is going to be called League of Legends: Wild Rift. You can watch the announcement trailer below. Just keep in mind that the footage features gameplay from the game’s mobile edition, not the console version.
The Wild Rift website, on the other hand, discusses further details about the upcoming title. For starters, just like the PC version, the game will feature a 5v5 player format. Plus, it is going to introduce "revamped" controls.
"Team up to take down the enemy Nexus on a new 5v5 map designed for new platforms, with faster games and revamped controls," reads a line from its announcement.
League of Legends: Wild Rift is expected to feature at least 40 champions at launch. While nothing has been made official yet about the roster’s final count, Riot Games promises to introduce more in the future. Much like the PC version, League of Legends: Wild Rift is also free-to-play. Players can even unlock all champions without the burden of paying real-world money. However, they have the option to spend some cash for in-game cosmetics and other extras.
Interestingly, Riot rebuilt League of Legends from scratch, "like the whole thing," for Wild Rift. It is the only way to bring the game to console and mobile.
"Refreshed models, animations, game systems and more--but keeping true to the core League of Legends gameplay you already know," the developer said in the announcement. "We didn't want to just port League on PC 1:1--we want to make sure Wild Rift feels like it was designed for new platforms, and use that opportunity to make a bunch of improvements to the game. While you won’t get your unlocks from League PC, you’ll get some cool rewards for the time you’ve spent in the PC version. More to come on that in 2020!"关注超越娱乐官网（www.sanqinnews.com）。
